Your clients will be amazed at the instant results of this facial - dubbed "a natural face lift" -it contours the face, removes puffiness and excess swelling. When the lymphatic system is overworked, it is less able to process and eliminate toxins and other metabolic waste products from the skin and body. For your face, a lymphatic drainage massage translates to clearer skin, fewer blemishes, and a dewy, youthful glow. Tense facial muscles relax during lymphatic drainage. This is particularly useful if your client holds tension in their jaw, forehead or near the eyes. It's also the ultimate pre wedding or pre holiday treatment and you can offer it as a course of treatments for even better results. You will learn a bespoke routine including a Japanese style manual lymphatic drainage facial massage, how to use the Gua Sha tool correctly and use ice rollers. We will also cover skin types, different facial products, apply a face mask, cleanser, apply moisturiser, serum and eye cream. The day is 9.30am-4.30pm and will include - theory, anatomy and physiology, the layers of the skin, history of face massage, benefits of lymphatic drainage, practical time, the facial routine, finishing with business and aftercare advice. Prerequisites - this course is for therapists who hold a facial qualification. All equipment is provided. Learn in small groups - in a relaxed environment at my home salon in Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk.
